So much depends upon…
So much depends upon
my favorite leopard print sunglasses.
They block the sun
and sometimes a cranky attitude.
Push back my hair inside
and put on a show outside.
In the summer they’re a staple.
Take my wallet or the shirt off my back
but please don’t take my $5.99 leopard print shades!
Love that boy
So excited
I wrecked my car
first bottle, first steps
and first birthday!
Loved him before I knew him
Kiss on him every chance I get
Contagious SMILE
Adorable from
Mohawk to baby feet
And one tiny hand to the other
that light up a room
And a few little teeth
beginning to appear
Bath time and a story
Is our special time
Bedtime bath, rubber ducky
And his favorite book
I love that boy
Can’t you tell
He captured my heart
before we even met.

Loving the sunglasses. I LOVE the line about attitude…when I read it I pictured you walking through the parking lot. HAHA
You’re sunglasses poem is really cute! And I love the pictures of your nephew
How did I now you were going to have a nephew poem? He’s a lucky kid to have an auntie that loves him so!
The poem about the sunglasses is so you. I loved the part you said about putting on a show outside. That is so you girl hiding that attitude and putting on a show! The poem about Lucca is great too. Isn’t it amazing how you can love someone before you’ve even met them.
How did I know that you would write about Lucca?? I love the poem it’s great. Those sunglasses can do a lot of things, I’ve used mine for many of the same.
I think the Love the Boy poem is just about perfect…Lucca is certainly your boy.
I also like the moxie your sunglasses poem exudes!
